» Lending Manager (full-time): Service 1 FCU is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and motivated Lending Manager. The successful candidate will manage and lead a team of 5 to 10 individuals and will be responsible for the management of all loan and collection functions. Essential functions include:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the lending department. Oversee work flow and productivity of the lending team, centralized underwriting practices and overall branch loan performance.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current loan products including consumer, mortgage and credit card lending.
  • Oversee the indirect lending program including dealer performance, loan quality and compliance.
  • Maintain high overall loan portfolio quality, underwriting and performance.
  • Suggest, implement and oversee loan procedures and promotions.
  • Participate in review committee meetings, work with loan officers on approvals and be responsible for lending compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of collection processes including charge-offs, repossessions, bankruptcy, foreclosure, garnishments and small claims.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of collection accounts, current legal litigations and small claims proceedings.
  • Manage collection recovery processes and assist with repayment and credit solutions.
  • Have knowledge of multi-state collection laws, rules and regulations as well as compliance verification.
  • Review and audit lending and collection activities to ensure compliance with external regulations.
  • Communicate credit union goals and direction with all team members to ensure an understanding of rules, regulations, requirements and expectations.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of lending, collection policies and procedures in accordance with credit union goals and strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of general economic conditions or changing trends that may affect the lending and/or collections department.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors’ rates and terms and other trends relating to consumer lending.
  • Research and evaluate feasibility of new lending products. Develop and implement plans for the expansion of lending products/programs.
  • Complete and analyze monthly loan and collection reports.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of lending and collection experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field (preferred) and/or extensive on-the-job training and experience

» Member Service Representative (part-time): Service 1 Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented and professional Member Service Representative (part-time). Applicants should exude a positive, courteous and professional attitude. Essential functions include:

  • Perform routine member transactions, including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, loan advances, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and money orders
  • Greet members and assist callers
  • Assist members in opening new accounts and perform the necessary account maintenance
  • Assist members with questions and account inquiries to include, but not limited to: ordering statement copies, check copies, check orders, placing stop payments, disputing unauthorized transactions, tutorials on using electronic services, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Educational and Experience Requirement:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in financial institutions preferred but not required

» Branch Manager (full-time): Service 1 Federal Credit Union is seeking Service 1 FCU is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Branch Manager. Applicants should exude a positive, resourceful attitude and be highly personable while possessing strong communication skills. Be prepared to work independently and in team settings. Essential functions include:

  • Directing, managing, and participating in all activities throughout the branch
  • Handling all aspects of member service including lending and collections
  • Employee relations including coaching, training, and scheduling
  • Representing Service 1 FCU in the branch and community in a professional manner
  • Maintaining the operations, facility, grounds, and safety and soundness of the branch
  • Developing business relationships, growing the business, and monitoring financial health of the branch
  • Additional tasks as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of college level coursework in a related field with a bachelor’s degree preferred; OR
  • 3-5 years in the banking industry in a supervisory position; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skills:
