IT MANAGER

Service 1 Federal Credit Union is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable IT Manager. The IT Manager will lead, manage, direct, and coordinate the planning, production, and activities of the organization's information technology department. Applicants should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Essential functions include:

  • Oversee and direct the a Comprehensive Information Security Program, including the audit and assessment program, incident response, disaster recovery, and other necessary programs
  • Manage relationships and work closely with technology vendors, including the Managed Service Provider (MSP), to ensure the stability of Service 1 FCU’s information technology operations
  • Keep abreast of changing trends in technology to include hardware, networks and network tools, software, and systems
  • Ensure the information technology structure and equipment is adequate to meet member needs and strategic plan
  • Work with the executive management team in setting short- and long-term technology plans that promote growth and enhance member services
  • Lead any direct reports, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure the department’s success
  • Develop, apply, evaluate, enforce, and update necessary policies and procedures to maintain data security and compliance with applicable standards and federal and state regulations
  • Create, review and maintain IT related reports and tasks; execute action plans for any necessary items
  • Provide IT related education and training to team members to ensure the understanding of company policies regarding cybersecurity and proper technology use
  • Lead an internal technology steering committee
  • Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, or changes in service or products
  • Keep team members up to date on trends and general industry information
  • Evaluate/implement new systems, applications, networks, or other technology tools that support growth, enhance member services, add value, and provide efficient processes for team members
  • Plan and manage projects based on management’s requirements, priorities, and cost constraints
  • Oversee and manage all phases of systems design, networking, and installation/operation of IT software
  • Direct the upgrade and maintenance of all computer hardware, software, systems tools, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and other external devices for business continuity purposes
  • Prepare, implement, and supervise the budget for the department consistent with the overall strategic plan and budget 
  • Negotiate cost-effective contracts for the purchase of hardware, software, service warranties, maintenance programs, or IT consultants to support the organization's technology infrastructure
  • Determine cost-effectiveness for outsourcing technology services
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of IT examinations (i.e., regulators) and IT audit-assessments (i.e., independent auditors)

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration (preferred)
  • IT related certification required (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
  • IT experience in a financial institution (preferred)
  • 3+ years of leadership experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft products: Windows (networking, servers, and workstations), 365, Azure, and Fortinet products: FortiGate, SD-WAN, WiFi, etc.

MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (part-time)

Service 1 Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented and professional Member Service Representative (part-time). Applicants should exude a positive, courteous and professional attitude. Essential functions include:

  • Perform routine member transactions via telephone or in person, including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, loan advances, transfers, check cashing, cashier’s checks, and money orders
  • Greet members and guests
  • Assist members in opening new accounts and performing necessary file maintenance
  • Assist members with questions and account inquiries including, but not limited to: ordering statement copies, check copies, check orders, placing stop payments, disputing unauthorized transactions, tutorials on using electronic services, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

NEOSHO, MO

TELLER SUPERVISOR

Service 1 Federal Credit Union is seeking a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and motivated Teller Supervisor (full time). The Teller Supervisor will be responsible for the overall supervision and operations of the Member Service Representative (MSR) area, providing guidance for the efficient and accurate handling of member needs and ensuring adherence to Service 1 FCU’s service standards and mission statement. Applicants should exude a positive, courteous, and professional attitude. 

Essential functions include:

  • Serve as a vault teller: forecast, order, verify, and balance all cash handled at the branch while maintaining dual control
  • Manage and maintain TCD recyclers, coin machine, night deposit, and ATM (where applicable)
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of policies and procedures and ensure that team members are in compliance, with particular attention to the cash policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and robbery/security procedures
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front line by scheduling hours, delegating responsibilities, problem solving, and assisting with complex transactions
  • Ensure the team is trained in all aspects of their positions, as well as cross-trained, to provide the highest quality of member service and maintain accuracy in transactions
  • Promote a cross-selling “yes culture” environment within the branch
  • Lead a well-trained, highly motivated team by providing mentoring and coaching to support and develop team members
  • Participate in team meetings by presenting general information, exchanging ideas, and discussing areas of improvement, procedural changes and new product developments/services
  • Approve member exceptions and authorize service fee refunds when necessary
  • Maintain adequate supplies (literature, forms, etc.) in the member service department
  • Monitor and evaluate MSR performance, concentrating on balancing and accuracy, providing feedback at least quarterly; mentor MSRs in proper procedures and develop corrective improvement plans
  • May function as a MSR on an as needed basis, filling in during peak schedules or for an absence/shortage on the teller line
  • Perform other duties as needed

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in financial institutions preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
