Give Your Finances a Year-End Check Up

It’s always good to know where you stand, and where you’re going! Take a few minutes to review our checklist, and you’ll be ready for financial success in 2008:

• Review all of your outstanding bills, and look closely at interest rates. Consider transferring balances or refinancing loans at Service 1 FCU to save on finance charges.
• Evaluate your savings, investments and retirement account. Are you on track to meet your goals? Are you exposed to too much risk?
• Set some financial goals for 2008 and write them down.
• Finish funding your 2007 IRA right now if you can, rather than waiting for the last minute. That way your money will have more time to grow.
• Make sure we have your correct address, phone, and beneficiary information on file.
